I feel such a fool. I defended Gimple, I really did. I watched that Kirkman train wreck known as Strangers and said “oh well it’s because it’s so focused on comic book characters!”. I stuck with him through Self-help because I figured they’d built this DC arc up so much they had to explore it. I thought that the shocking way Maggie was being written was a build up to some fall out between Beth and Maggie or even Daryl and Maggie.

I honestly thought that the days of random, meaningless deaths were over. 

I feel like such a fool and I just want to take Emily Kinney and hug her really tight because she has been wronged so badly. They allowed all this negativity to be thrown at her for something that never happened. They invited people onto their show to talk shit about her - come on, two weeks before her death they invite YNB and no one bothers to defend Emily when she starts throwing shade at her. No one says at any point “look, we know you don’t like Bethyl, but can we keep this professional?”

They put her on with Kirkman who chooses to talk about Daryl’s sexuality instead of the abused girl they have just killed off for no rhyme or reason.

Emily, I am so sorry about this. I am just so sorry.
